Fancy dress in Mexico

Welcome to a place where Men wear make up and tights (only for dressing up). There are more fancy dress occasions that university times and the clothes are so cheap!!
When you think of Mexico, the general image of a tequila swilling machismo wearing a sombrero in the desert surrounded by Cactus´. Or again, a serenading Mariarchi. Since living here I have come to realise that is as realistic as British people having toilets at the bottom of their gardens or drinking tea at 4pm. Instead, the national love of dressing up is internationally anonymous to the outside world.
